I installed mIRC 7.19 at work the other day, it’s an older rig, sad really… Windows 7 32-bit, but the box is terribly low end. Anyway, every time I started MPP it crashed.

I’m running 64-bit Windows 7 here at home on a Conroe chip and MPP seems to work fine with mIRC 7.19.

So, I’m curious how everyone else is doing with it. Comments are off so you will have to email your results to me.

Update: I used a new MPP profile on my work PC and MPP is working fine with mIRC 7.19 now, so maybe my profile was corrupt. If anyone has issues, email me.

This site was originally running e107 and last week I switched it to WordPress 3.2 Beta 1. It was a manual installation and had some issues. Last night I reinstalled everything and upped it to WordPress 3.2 Beta 2, including the new default theme. I will leave it this way for awhile so everyone’s eyes can adjust.

After years of frustrating dismal results with the e107 engine I have slowly switched all of my sites to WordPress.

MPP is the last site to make this switch.

rctgamer3 emailed me this morning to report the MPP site was hacked (again) including an exploit in a PDF bug in java.

This new problem forced me to move forward with the switch to WordPress, once and for all.

With that, I am officially done with e107.

What does this mean to users?

Downloads and everything about MPP won’t be available until I have more time to build up this site.

I apologize for this temporary down time but it has to be done.

I will try to get it working by the next weekend.
